|Greetings from EWC Outreach in Glenrock. Glenrock Outreach/Community Education is a joint partnership between Converse County School District #2 and Eastern Wyoming Community College, whose mission is to provide area residents the opportunity to establish and achieve personal and educational goals through participation in credit and special interest classes and activities.
Whether it is to get the job you have always wanted, get promoted in your current job, or increase your knowledge in various subject areas, Glenrock Outreach can assist you on your journey.
EWC also offers a variety of workforce development opportunities and degree and certificate programs. There are four NCA approved on-line degree programs available. To learn more, click here.
This will prepare students for the High School Equivalency Test for a high school equivalency certificate. Adults seeking to brush up on basic educational skills can receive individualized instruction. Registration is open throughout the year. There is no charge for the instruction in preparing for the test.
ADULT BASIC EDUCATION
Individual instruction is given with students working at their own pace. An initial evaluation of skills levels is made to determine a starting point for studies.
COMPUTER ASSISTED LEARNING
PLATO Learning, a computer database offers individualized instruction for a wide variety of skills levels. Study in reading, math, science, social studies, life and career skills is available as a self-paced learning system.
The Glenrock Community Education~EWC Outreach office is currently located in the back of the main office of Glenrock High School. Our Community Education program offers a wide variety of special interest programs. These courses include, but are not limited to, arts and crafts, literacy, hunter safety, driver's education, music, health and wellness, workforce development as well as on-line Ed2go classes.
